Scripture Reference: 1 Samuel 17 th Chapter My mind can picture the scene between one young man and one giant. These two stand in a valley between their armies, in cultural, physical, and theological opposition. The young man, David, servant of King Saul, is a minstrel, and sheep herder. The champion from the warring people, Goliath, nine feet tall with a bad disposition, foul mouthed, foul breathed, with an arrogant strut. Scriptural Reference: Romans 8:28, ' And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love GOD, who are the called according to HIS purpose.' sometimes, we offer the comfort we need to someone else before we actually feel comfort or comforted. we may extend our heart to pray in faith while waiting for the answer to our prayer. all i know is that JESUS loves me. i know because HE told me so. i know that HE has a plan for my life. that is all i know. i do not understand HIS mind, HIS ways, but i am practicing trusting HIS love. HE is breath close and HE is thought near. HE is here. now. all ways. always. i am glad we can know individually and collectively, that we are not alone. my heart and soul rejoice in the LOVE of JESUS that i am bathed and swaddled in today and always.
